Criminal Matters

Sometimes a car stop is more serious than a traffic violation. Many drivers are facing misdemeanor or felony charges as a result of a driving related incident. In addition to license points and insurance issues, these charges can result in a permanent criminal record. Feifer & Greenberg regularly represents motorists on a wide variety of driving and license related criminal offenses.

These more serious criminal charges include:

  • Aggravated Unlicensed Operation (driving with a suspended or revoked license)
  • Reckless Driving
  • DUI/DWI
  • Various Trucking Offenses

While we understand that some individuals will inevitably represent themselves on certain traffic violations, we strongly advise against it in criminal court. We recommend at least discussing the case with an attorney and understanding what the potential penalties are before making that decision.

  • A suspension at 11 points is not always mandatory. Some judges have discretion to waive a points-based suspension.
